Guides
Our Guides provide clear, step-by-step instructions for completing common tasks in Unity. These guides focus on specific features or actions rather than full scenarios, making it easy to find solutions quickly. Keep in mind, your implementation of Unity may be customized, so some steps can be simplified or extended depending on your configuration.
Targeting
Guide | Task |
---|---|
Target by multiple conditions | A fitness supplement company is launching a new protein shake and wants to advertise in gyms. It’s a limited launch so they have a list of zip codes where their products will be distributed. They also want to maximize viewership by targeting large gyms, preferably those with 1000+ active members. |
Target venues with specific configuration | A meal preparation service is launching a new personalized meal program. To promote it, they plan to run a combination campaign in local gyms, where a video runs on TVs for attention combined with interactive ads on tablets for customer sign-ups. Because the campaign relies on both ads running in the same location, the advertiser requested targeting only gyms equipped with both TVs and tablets. |
Target by Address List with Tiers | A car accessory manufacturer has developed a new windshield scraper for ice and snow. They have a list of addresses of auto shops that carry their products, making them ideal candidates to target. They have a limited budget, however, and requested we prioritize addresses they’ve designated as a higher tier. The tier of each address is an additional column in the target list. |
Guide Coming Soon! | You run a network of screens installed at gas stations around the country. A grocery chain is interested in running an ad on your network but they want to target gas stations within 1 mile of one of their stores. Given a list of coordinates (latitude/longitude) of their stores, Unity can identify screens within your network within a specific range of one of their stores. |
Guide Coming Soon! | An advertiser currently in flight has failed to pay their invoices, putting their campaign at risk of being canceled. To prepare for this, your team wants to create proposals for their competitors using the inventory that is projected to become available. Unity can simulate the cancelation and generate new targeting results accordingly; this document will show the steps. |
Guide Coming soon! | An advertiser has a campaign currently in flight but they received budget for more venues. Unity can provide a way to queue up a new segment such that it excludes venues where the campaign is already running. The sales team can use these results to upsell the advertiser. |
